This painting was inspired by a photograph taken by a Summit County resident from her back porch. The Rocky Mountains are home to wonderful Black Bears that are a blessing to our mountain communities. But sadly, they put themselves in danger when they become comfortable around people. Mounted on a resilient pine frame with soft rubber pads and ready-to-hang hardware, this canvas feels at home above a mantel, in a reading nook, or in a cozy entryway where winter memories gather.
